Thanks for all the suggestions coming through on the giveaway comments for what content you would like to see more of on the blog. There seems to be a lot of requests for more beauty based posts, which I am more than happy to do as I love my beauty products, and some of you may remember I used to do Youtube videos based on makeup products and tutorials!

So I thought I would start off with my daily make up routine, or more so the products I use on a regular basis. I chop and change quite a lot so this is just what I’ve been using lately, but things like foundation and blush I change up a fair bit! (Sorry everything looks a bit dirty. Its all been thrown together in my make up kit!)

-Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 52 Vanilla

-Diorskin Nude Foundation in 030 (This is a sample size that I mix with Healthy Mix for the perfect shade!)

– MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Stereo Rose

– Topshop Blush in Rosy

– ELF Golden Bronzer

– Natural Collection Cover Up Cream (Shade no. has rubbed off)

– Vaseline Rosy Lips

– MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup

– Topshop Lipstick in Ohh La La

– ELF Lipstick in Nicely Nude

As you can see I’m hitting pan in a couple of the powders, and the MAC lipstick is virtually gone!I’m hoping to stock up on a few things in the next month or so and I am looking into investing in Chanel Vitalumiere or Prolumiere foundation at some point when I can afford to. I tried a sample of the new Vitalumiere Aqua today and loved the lightweight feel, but I think I need slightly more coverage at the minute.

In other news, the lovely people over at Sigma sent me a Miss Taylor Kabuki brush, which I have fallen in love with and will do a post on soon. I love it so much that I’ve gone and ordered a 12 piece brush kit with a little help from Dan as a treat. So excited for that to arrive. I think I will do a post on everything together when it arrives!

What’s in your day to day make up bag?

  1. Hi Michelle! I think they are really good considering the price, and would use them over a lot of drugstore brands. The only thing I would say is that the swat he's on the website aren't really true to colour x

  2. would you say that the healthy mix foundation gives any kind of glow effect? i'm using bourjois 10 hour sleep effect atm and it's lovely but i'm thinking of trying this one as well 🙂 i'm obsessed with anything that makes my face glow to be honest so i just thought i'd see what you think! x
