Normally when I get emails about new brands from PR companies I tend to overlook them, as nine times out of ten they aren’t me or don’t suit the theme of my blog. However, when one appeared in my inbox about a new clothing brand called Abide, I found myself on the website for a long time, browsing their beautiful clothing. (This is in no way a sponsored post. I simply want to share this brand with you as I think it’s great!) As many of you know, I love to support up and coming, less known brands, and I think many of you will really love this one!
Created by fast emerging designer, Kim Mckellar, the brands debut collection ‘Meadow Girls’ is full of this season’s pastels and feminine fabrics. Designed to be versatile and inter-changeable, each piece is classic and timeless, taking you from day to night in soft silks and linens. Every piece is handmade in Devon, and inspiration is taken from the English country and seaside of where it is created.
All available at Abide Clothing
As you can see the Spring/Summer collection is extremely girly and sweet and very me! I love the simplicity of each piece, and can see this being a really successful brand. You can buy their stock online now, and although on the slightly higher priced side (prices start at £52) I think buying something is an investment. The pieces are handmade and so versatile, that I could see a couple of these being in my wardrobe and staying part of it for years to come. Although they seem quite young, I think a lot of these pieces would suit a more mature woman too, so I could see myself wearing these for a long time.
You can also find Abide on Facebook and Twitter!
