As long time followers will know, I’m a regular visitor to Vintage Fairs in my local area, and a couple of years back I stumbled across a lovely stall run by the lovely Laura, called ‘Laura Loves‘. I snapped up one of her necklaces that had a lovely vintage style Peter Rabbit pendant hanging from it, and fell in love with her little brand straight away. You may remember a while back that Laura was very generous in donating a giveaway prize to the blog too, and now she has been super kind and sent over a couple of pieces for me to review. She has also offered to give a piece away to one of you lucky people, but more on that in a moment! I sent over a few interview questions for Laura to answer so you could all get a feel of who she is and what Laura Loves is all about…

When and how did you get into making jewellery?

I started making jewellery whilst studying my degree at Birmingham city University. It started of just a hobby for friends and family and I got such good feedback from people that I decided to start to sell me work at Vintage fairs and Markets all across the UK, My dream was always to have my own shop and I opened my first store a couple of weeks ago at the custard factory Birmingham.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

My inspiration comes from the materials I find and for my love and passion for things handmade and unique. I literally find things and they spark a million ideas in my head which I think helps to keep my work unique.
