This post is a little overdue I know, but better late than never! Over the festive period I was very kindly sent some White Company products to review. I've admired The White Company from a far and ogled their beautiful bedding, but wasn't aware at the huge range of products they had to offer. I received some gorgeous Christmas decorations and a lovely Christmassy candle to add an extra dash of festive sparkle to my bedroom.
Star Christmas decorations & Winter Candle - The White Company*
The decorations are so pretty, especially the big bejewelled one. I've hung this one on my bedroom door, and when light shines in the room it catches it in all the gems and reflects little patterns in my room! It was a big too chunky to go on the tree and weighed the branches down a bit, but it just as nice on the door handle as an extra detail.
The smaller star is so cute, made of little beads and oh so delicate. This one is perfect for the tree and matches my colour scheme of red, white and blue.
Finally, the candle. Oh my goodness, the candle! This is without a doubt the nicest scented candle I've ever had. I'm a bit of a candle junkie, with Yankee Candles being my addiction, but this was so gorgeous. My mum has actually claimed this for the living room as it fills the whole house with such a deep scent of cinnamon cloves and clementines - the ultimate Christmas scent. At first I was a little surprised at the size of the candle for the price it retails at, as it is priced at £20 for 140g, however the quality of the scent and the burn time we have got out of this make it completely worth it. We first lit this at lunchtime on Christmas Eve until about midnight (a whole 12 hours), then again for pretty much the same amount of time on Boxing day, and there is still a good couple of inches of wax left.
I couldn't find any of these three products online as they are out of stock, but I did spot them in the Selfridges Trafford Centre store the other day, so there is still stock flying around in stores.
I will definitely be treating myself to some of the candles from the main range in the near future, with the Pomegranate and Seychelles scents top of my list!
