Just a quick post tonight to show you what I wore and what I got up to today! It’s been a pretty busy Saturday for me, starting off with a trip to the hairdressers to get rid of my roots. I decided to get quite a bit chopped off the ends to get it nice and healthy, and I’m so happy with it. Then I headed off out for lunch with my brother who is visiting for the weekend, and hit the shops afterwards. This evening we’ve had the whole family round for a barbecue which was lovely as the sun decided to show its face for last part of the day! I’m now nursing a major food baby but its totally worth it!

Dungarees – Coco Boo
Tee – Topshop
Shoes – George @ Asda
Belt – Primark

I wore some gorgeous new dungarees (I’m gettong quite the collection!) that I picked up at Coco Boo in Preston at the NW Blogger Meet Up last weekend, teamed with my favourite Breton striped Topshop tee. I had a major shoe disaster in River Island when the heel tip fell off to expose the nail at the end of the heel, making me slip down a couple of stairs. So embarrassing! They were my trusty little nude Primark slip on heels that I’ve worn to death and have seen better days. I had to purchase an alternative so I picked up these coral numbers from George for a teeny £10, which are the perfect colour for summer. All’s well that ends well!

Have you delved into the dungaree trend?

  1. I've also got the bug for dungarees! I can see myself being hooked for the summer – as the weather is changing I'll be switching it up between those and my playsuits! Oh goodness, I've had that happen with my heel and it's a nightmare if you can't fix it or get an emergency replacement! Lovely choice of new shoes though! x

  2. Ye yes yes to everything in this outfit! Black and white stripes are so in right now and the pop of clour with the coral heels makes it just perfect for this season.
