Yet another outfit I had hoped to wear without the need for tights! It’s nearly July, come on now summer, stop toying with us! Today has been pretty windy, so wearing this little Tokyo Laundry number without tights would have been a distaster/sight for sore eyes. I had really wanted to wear this with some cute little ankle socks and heels put goosebumps on my pale legs is not a good look! You can’t really tell from the pictures that much, but the dress is strapless and is worn over a long sleeved blouse. It’s not the usual thing I would go for but I thought I would give it a whirl, and as soon as it arrived I had this little outfit planned in my head.I think the blouse makes it more ‘me’ and really pulls everything together. The dress itself is lovely with its pastel ombre detailing, perfect to add to the holiday list teamed with some bejewelled sandals and a top knot, but for gloomy old Preston I decided to keep the look weather appropriate. Finished off with my favourite hair accessory, my Crown and Glory headband, this is one of my favourite outfits I’ve worn so far this year!

I’ve never actually tried anything from Tokyo Laundry before as I’ve never thought it sold the kind of stuff I would go for, but if you take a look at their Spring/Summer range I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised like I was! Cue lots of lace, ombre, pastels and girly shapes, perfect for your holiday wardrobe. I’m in love with this tie dye dress in bright cobalt blue too. It would look gorgeous paired with some tan leather accessories and a wide brimmed straw hat for a casual summer look.
I’m off to spend the night relaxing, pampering myself and watching some girly films. Hope you all had a lovely weekend! Let me know what you all got up to.
Have you shopped with Tokyo Laundry before? How would you style this dress?
