Another gorgeous day in the sunny UK, so another summery outfit for me! I wanted to put together a look that would be festival appropriate seeing as it’s festival season, even though I won’t be going to any myself (boo). I love festival fashion and spend hours each year scrolling through street style snaps from the likes of Bennicassim and Coachella. Festival style is so cool and carefree, where pretty much anything goes, and I really wanted to put a look together that would be perfect for one. I also wanted an excuse to wear my new wellies from Novesta as the rainy weather outfit post I had planned doesn’t seem to be possible now that we’ve been drenched in sun – not that I’m complaining! The wellies have a gorgeous red ribbon detail, so I wanted to pick out that colour and decided to throw on one of my favourite dresses, a pretty daisy print number from Topshop in a bright red shade. Lightweight and easy to wear, dresses like this are ideal for festivals as they look uber stylish without having to go to much effort. I also wore a cute floral crown and threw on some accessories in a clashing aqua green. Topped off with a slick of red lipstick, this is one of my favourite looks so far this summer!

The wellies are going to be a staple for me throughout summer when it comes to camping trips and walks with Toby when the weather isn’t so great, and if you’re going to any festivals they are perfect as they are really light weight so aren’t too hot or heavy. They also have orthopaedic insoles for extra comfort and support, meaning you can dance all day long and still be comfortable in the muddy fields! Granted I will get a lot more wear out of these in the Winter months, but I just couldn’t wait to style them up into an outfit, and what better excuse than to work them into a festival look!
Are you going to any of this year’s festivals? What will you be wearing?
