Evening every body! Before I get on to today's outfit, first of all huge apologies for being MIA this week. I've actually been away in London with work for most of the week and didn't get chance to schedule any posts before I left, but I am back now and have lots of lovely stuff lined up for the blog so regular posting resumes as of now!
Today my friend Estelle (who has just started a movie blog which you should definitely check out) had a Vintage stall at a lovely fair in Preston and as stallholders we had to dress up in Vintage attire. I struggled for hours wondering what on earth to wear as I had got rid of a lot of Vintage lately, and the majority of item I had left were chunky knitwear, but then I came across this lovely dress that I completely forgot I had! I got it a while back from Retro Rehab in Preston and had never worn it, so decided to give it it's first outing today.
Dress - Retro Rehab
Belt - Primark
Socks - River Island
Boots - Primark
Rings - H&M, Timothy Roe*, Primark
Lips - Chanel Coco Rouge in Cambon
The dress is a little on the sheer side so I wore a long sleeveless top underneath, and with the weather being so unpredictable I made sure my feet stayed dry in my favourite well loved Primark boots. I added a touch of sparkle with some glittery ankle socks, and toughned up the whole look a little with a studded belt. I really loved this outfit and I'm so glad I dug out the dress! It will be perfect in Autumn with a chunky cardigan and tights. Not that I'm wishing Summer away mind, I need me some more sun!!
Have you ever been to Retro Rehab? If you live in the North West be sure to check out their stores in Preston and Manchester for some great Vintage finds!
