I couldn’t wait to share these photos with you all, purely because of how amazing the jacket is! I spied this gorgeous little tapestry print floral number in Primark yesterday and couldn’t believe my eyes. They seem to be so on trend this season and I’ve picked up so many lovely pieces from there over the last few weeks that I’m tempted to do a bit of a ‘best buys’ post showing you all the gems I’ve found there recently. Let me know if you’d be interested in seeing that! Let’s focus on the jacket for now though. This came in at £17, which die hard Primark fans alike will surely gasp at in sheer horror as it’s ‘too expensive’. Well I’m here to tell you that it isn’t. Anywhere else on the high street, this jacket would easily be costing £40 plus. I do agree that their prices are on the rise, but so are everyone else’s, and they are still the cheapest fast fashion store around at the moment so I have no problem with that at all.
Jacket – Primark
Vest top – Oasis
Jeans – Joni at Topshop
Boots – Topshop
Ring – H&M
Bangle – Topshop*
Nails – Shellac Hot Pop Pink
Lips – Kate Moss For Rimmel in #16
Although it is only imitation tapestry, the quality of the jacket is pretty darn good, and the fit is lovely. I’m wearing it today teamed with a simple outfit of black skinnies and a basic jersey vest top. I wore my favourite Topshop Alvin boots and accessorised with a few pieces of jewellery for a look that would be perfect for every day wear or even for work.
You may notice my location for photos is a little different today too! As I mentioned yesterday, I wanted to experiment with new locations to give my photos more of a lookbook feel, and I’m really pleased with how these have turned out. They won’t be done in this style for every outfit post, but I think this will be a nice way to break them up and add a bit of variety to the blog! Let me know your thoughts.
