If the weather over the past couple of days is anything to go by, then it looks like Summer is definitely on its way out in the UK! Normally I’d be really disappointed by the fact that Autumn is here, and don’t get me wrong, I’m still clutching on to every last bit of Summer that i can, but this year I feel ready for it, and can’t wait to start wearing all my Wintery clothes! I love a good bit of layering in the colder weather, and this morning’s chilly air was the perfect excuse to do just that.

I finally got my hands on the Topshop checked dress that appeared on my wish list a couple of weeks back, after managing to drop enough hints for Dan to let me order it as an early birthday present! It’s so perfect on, with a dipped hem at the back and an oversized fit, and I love the different shades of blue. I was originally planning to put this safely to one side for our holiday in a couple of weeks but I just couldn’t wait to wear it!

Biker Jacket – Topshop
Dress – Topshop
Jumper – Topshop via Outfit*
Bag – Next
Boots – Topshop (similar here)
Socks – Primark
Rings – Primark, Timothy Roe*, New Look, H&M

I wore the dress with a lovely fluffy blue cropped jumper that I got from Topshop at Outfit yesterday, which you may recognise from my Twitter and Instagram posts. I was lucky enough to be invited down to the relaunch of their Teesside store and this is one of the things I snapped up whilst I was at the event! I bought a little more than I should have done but I fell in love with so many things and couldn’t decided between them all! Anyway, there will be more on that next week where I’ll show you all the pictures!

I finished the look off with my trusty Topshop Alvin Boots (Topshop fest, I know…) and faux leather biker, along with stacks of pretty rings. Please ignore my Shellac as it has grown out so much! I’m holding out to get my nails done for another week to save money and be sure they will look ok for holiday! I’m thinking coral next…

How are you dressing for the switch between Summer and Autumn?
