POLKA DOTTED

What’s this?! An outfit post?? Why, yes, yes it is. I seem to have got out of sync with my blogging recently due to a lot of goings on that I will explain more about very soon, but other things have been taking up my time lately, and what with the weather getting colder it’s been getting more difficult to pull myself out of bed on the weekends and face the chill! After tearing myself away from the warmth of the sofa, Dan and I headed out just as the sun was setting to take some outfit snaps. We stopped off at this lovely quiet little road which is lined with tall trees and fallen leaves, the perfect backdrop for a Wintery outfit. Today I wore some of my oldest but favourite pieces, such as my much loved Topshop waffle knit jumper that’s now stretched to twice its size, and an Urban Outfitters polka dot skater skirt from many seasons ago that I can’t bear to part with.

I threw on my cosy winter boyfriend coat that I got recently from H&M, cut out boots from She Likes, and finished everything off with a chunky bobble hat. Considering this was something I threw together this morning I think it turned out looking pretty nice!

Jumper – Topshop
Skirt – Urban Outfitters
Coat – H&M
Boots – She Likes*
Hat – Primark

One of the things I’ve been putting a lot of time in to is my little shop/stall that I run, called, you’ve guessed it, ‘Sitting Pretty’! I try to do as many stalls at local vintage and craft fairs as possible, and the next couple of weeks are jam packed with Christmas events, so I’ve been busy getting crafty making goods to sell at those. You can keep up to date with all of it on my Facebook page here, and if you live in good old Lancashire be sure to come and say hi if you are popping down to any of the fairs!

What have you been up to lately? What are your favourite pieces to wear in the Winter weather?
