Today has been a lovely relaxed day and the perfect start to the weekend. I’ve finished all my Christmas shopping, wrapped all of my presents and helped my mum wrap hers, and generally had a festive, relaxing day. It’s the first day I’ve actually started to feel Christmassy (is that a word?) so I think tonight calls for a festive film! Love Actually anyone? On to today’s outfit for now though. Today I wore a gorgeous dress that at first glance may look like a vintage number from the sixties, or an expensive high street replica, but in actually fact it has been handmade by a lovely lady called Steph who runs Lily And The Lamplight.
As I’ve said in the past, I’m not a huge fan of red tartan, so to find a gorgeous dress like this one in blue and green hues is a huge plus for me, as I think it’s so much more flattering to my skin tone. What drew me in most though is the shape of the dress. I love sixties style shift/wiggle dresses, I love three quarter length sleeves and I love high necks – tick, tick and tick! Steph is an uber talented lady, and I urge you all to go show her some love on Facebook! She has tonnes of dresses including shifts and skaters, all available with different sleeve lengths and necklines, as well as skirts and playsuits in many different fabrics. If you’re super nice she may even take some custom orders, so get yourselves over there, pronto!
What do you think of my Lily And The Lamplight dress?
