If there’s one thing I love at Christmas, it’s all the new beauty releases and gifts, and boy does The Body Shop have some good’uns this year. Last Christmas I stocked up on a few goodies for my collection, including lots of gingerbread scented products, and at first I was a little saddened to see my beloved Ginger Sparkle wasn’t back for another year, but then I saw the new Christmas collection! Enter Frosted Cranberry, Glazed Apple and, wait for it, Vanilla Brulee! Heaven!
There’s a few new products that I’ve not actually seen in the range before, such as bath sprinkles and bath jelly, (both of which have got me intrigued) but what I love the most about The Body Shop is their brand ethos and how everything is ethically produced. I always feel like I’m using something extra nourishing and good for my skin whenever I use one of their products (and I use a lot!) partly because they disclose where the ingredients are from and how the products are actually made.
Take the Bath Jelly for example, which contains Community Fair Trade honey from the Sheka Forest Biosphere Reserve in Ethiopia. Then there’s the Bath Sprinkles containing 100% organic Aloe Vera which is processed within six hours of harvest to ensure it’s super fresh!
I’m definitely going to be adding a few of the new releases to my Christmas list, especially one of the reed diffusers to make my flat smell all festive and fruity! If you’re stuck for ideas on what to buy that special someone this Christmas, or need inspiration for an affordable gift for a stocking filler or Secret Santa, then check out the Gift Finder for lots of lovely suggestions!
