It seems like whenever this time of the month comes around I have a little panic about how quickly the year is passing me by, and this month is no exception! I can’t believe it’s March already! It only seems like a few weeks ago we were celebrating round the table with a turkey and copious amount of Baileys at Christmas, and now I’m shopping for Spring clothes and holiday goodies!

February has been a hectic month, and with it came lots of new product discoveries that I’ve absolutely loved using. Let’s get in to it!

Pretty Twist & Out Nail Polish Remover – I’ve seen the Bourjois version of this raved about all over the internet but had never got round to trying it. I spotted this version in a local beauty store called Bodycare for less than a couple of pounds and decided to give it a whirl. I’ve not tried anything like this to compare it to, but I’m super impressed with this one! It take my nail polish off quickly with zero mess, even the really dark shades!

Mac Lipstick in Patisserie – I’m a huge fan of Mac lipsticks, and have been meaning to add this one to my collection for a while now. I picked Patisserie up when I was in York at the beginning of the month, and have used it every single day since! It’s a lovely nude shade with a touch of pink, which has a lovely creamy finish and would suit most skin tones.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser – This is a product I used to use a couple of years back but never really saw any benefit from it, probably because I wasn’t using it for the right reasons. I popped in to Body Shop back in January to hunt down a primer for my oily t-zone, and was recommended this alternative. I smooth a small amount on to my forehead, nose and chin after moisturising, then apply my make up. It helps reduce the size of my pores and leaves a lovely matte finish that helps keep my make up in place all day.

Topshop Bronzer in Sandcastle – I’ve been on the look out for a subtle bronzer that would suit my pale skin, wasn’t packed with shimmer and would be suitable for contouring, and I think I’ve finally found it! I spotted this one on Topshop’s website just after Christmas and have absolutely loved using it. I blend a small amount in the hollows of my cheeks to give the illusion of cheekbones, and dust a little at my temples and the sides of my nose when I want extra definition.

The Body Shop Red Musk EDT – I first smelled this fragrance at a Christmas Blogger event at my local Body Shop store and fell in love straight away. I’m not usually one to go for musky scents, but this one is very different from other’s I’ve tested. With notes of cinnamon and tobacco, it’s a gorgeous spicy, sultry scent that is perfect for evening.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream – I’ve been suffering from extremely dry hands whilst the weather has been cold, and my usual hand creams just weren’t cutting it. I’ve been meaning to pick up a tube of this classic skin protectant, and thought it was time I bit the bullet! It’s been an absolute game changer for me. I’ve been using it on my hands at night then putting on my moisturising gloves over the top, and it’s really made a difference in my skin. I’ve also been using this on my lips as a subtle balm when they’ve been feeling a little dry, and it’s worked wonders!

Lush Sea Spray Hair Mist – A friend of mine picked this up recently and saw amazing results on her natural curls, so I thought I’d treat myself to one too. I’m a huge fan of texturising sprays (I was never blessed with big, thick hair. *sob*) and loved the sound of this one. I’m so glad I discovered this, as it adds just the right amount of texture to my hair, giving it a beachy, natural look and an amazing scent. So far I’ve been using this on dry hair to add some texture and lift, but I’ve read reviews that it works amazingly on damp hair prior to styling, so I’ll definitely be giving that a go once I’ve had my hair cut this weekend!

Schwarzkopf Got2b All Star 10-in-1 Styling Treatment – I received this in a recent Glossybox and thought I may as well give it a go. I’ve actually cancelled my subscription as I’m getting a little bored of the products I’m receiving (how many blushers and hair products do they think I need?), so I didn’t have very high hopes for this, but was actually really pleasantly surprised. I’ve been working a small amount of this in to damp hair before styling when I want to wear my hair straight, as it adds lots of volume to my locks and also provides some hold too. I’m not sure how true the 10-in-1 statement is, but it’s definitely helped when it comes to styling my hair!

I think February has been one of my favourite months so far in terms of new products and discoveries. There’s been so much more added to my beauty and make up routines! What has been your favourite product to use over the past month?
