I've always been a big fan of maxi skirts, as they can be so versatile and are the perfect item for this in-between weather as we wait for Spring to finally make an appearance! I found this knitted version in Miss Tempted recently and fell in love with the simple shape and side split detail. Because it's knitted, it's really easy to dress down like I did here with a printed tee and lightweight parka style jacket, but the straight shape and classic black means it can be dressed up just as easily.

T Shirt - AX Paris at Get The Label*
Skirt - Miss Tempted*
Bag - Warehouse
Boots - Dorothy Perkins
Rings - Pandora and Orelia*
I love the casual feel of this outfit, and the colouring of the rose print tee goes so well with the skirt and jacket. I kept accessories simple and styled the look with my new favourite cross body bag, black pointed boots and some pretty rings. I went for my usual Pandora stacking rings, along with a dainty little set of midi rings in a range of colours from Orelia London, a lovely jewellery brand that I've just discovered.
What do you think of the maxi skirt trend? How would you style one for Spring?
