Great Hair Moisture Drench Shampoo & Conditioner - My old shampoo and conditioner were about to run out, so I found myself browsing the aisles in my local TKMaxx beauty department hunting down a new combo to try. I stumbled across this range and thought they would do my dry bleached locks some good as they contain Moroccan Argan oil extract. At around £5 for each huge 500ml, I thought I'd give them a try, and have been really pleasantly surprised. This duo leaves my hair feeling light, refreshed and nourished, and doesn't weigh my hair down at all. Love!
TRESemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray - I recently bought a TRESemme Keratin Smooth hair wand, and this came as an added bonus with it. I'm never usually one for using a heat spray (slaps wrist!) but since having my hair cut in to a bob, I want to try and keep it looking as healthy as possible, especially since I use heat styling tools on it quite a fair bit. This leaves my hair silky smooth and smelling so good!
LOLA Eyshadow Palette in 002 Neutrals* - I got this as part of a Marks & Spencer bundle a year or two ago and it got forgotten about after going in to my ever growing collection of palettes. I stumbled on it again a few weeks back, and have been using the brown shade every day since to fill in my brows. It's a natural colour that matches my brows perfectly, and has a grey tone to it so it doesn't leave them looking red!
Benefit Puff Off Eye Gel - I have to admit, I jumped on the hype with this product, but I have to say it did live up to all my expectations! I'd run out of my Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream, and decided to try this one out rather than repurchase. Now in my eyes, this isn't quite as good as It's Potent, but they're designed to do completely different things. This is designed to de-puff those dreaded eye bags, and it certainly does that!
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara - I'm a HUGE fan of Benefit mascaras, so I couldn't wait to try this one out. I love They're Real and Bad Gal, but I find them a little thick and clumpy at times, whereas this has a formula that's much easier to work with, and makes my lashes super curly!
Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Fluid-Touch Foundation - I was in two minds whether to feature this or not, because I don't actually like the formula of this foundation on it's own. I do however love to mix it with other foundations I wear to make them a little thinner and easier to blend. I think if my skin wasn't so prone to spots and blemishes, I would love this by itself, but I find it a little too light when it comes to coverage. I mix it in equal parts with my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and I have the most perfect consistency and coverage.
Avene Skin Recovery Cream - I've had this a good few months now and it got pushed to the back of my skincare shelf as I wasn't really sure when I should use it. Since I ran out of my Origins Ginzing, I thought I'd use this up before repurchasing something else, and have been loving it! I've used it as a moisturiser in the mornings and evenings after toning, and it gives just the right amount of moisture to my skin without being greasy. I also feel like it's been doing my skin good as my break outs seem to have calmed a little since using. Result!
