COLD SHOULDER

As soon as I saw the sun come out yesterday evening, I knew it would be the perfect excuse to not only get some extra exercise and go on a little stroll, but also to dust off the camera and take some photos of some new stuff I’ve added to my wardrobe recently.

I’m a huge fan of the bardot off-the-shoulder top trend that’s doing the rounds right now, and have got a nice little collection mounting up ready for our holiday in a couple of weeks, but the one that’s probably getting the most wear is this simple off-white number from Pretty Little Thing. I also got the same one in black which I’ve worn on a night out tucked in to a bodycon skirt which looked lovely. I love how they can go with literally anything and are so easy to wear.

Shirt – ASOS

Bardot Top – Pretty Little Thing

Jeans – New Look

Adidas Stan Smiths – Very

Bag – H&M

Choker – Urban Outfitters

Sunglasses – Primark

I wore my bardot top with some simple black skinnies, and threw a striped grey overshirt on top from ASOS. I’ve worn this shirt so much since picking it up last year – it’s great in Winter buttoned up with some skinnies and heels for work, but I love to wear it in the warmer months instead of a jacket like I have here.

Accessories-wise I went with my super comfy Adidas Stan Smiths which are my go-to comfy shoes right now, and added some touches of black with my new Urban Outfitters crochet choker, Primark sunnies and my little H&M bucket bag from last year’s holiday that I’m still loving twelve months on.

I’m so happy that we’re finally getting some warmer weather as it means I can get back in the outfit post game once and for all! I’ve got the nicest outfit to shoot this weekend so fingers crossed the sun stays put for then.

Have you tried out the bardot trend so far this season? How do you style yours?
