FEELING FLAMENCO

One of my favourite looks from our holiday, and a failsafe outfit for those last minute invites or meals out where I need a roomy waistband (hello carbs!), is this monochrome combo that I’ve fallen head over heels for. It often gets mistaken for a dress, but its actually a separate top of skirt that just so happen to sit perfectly together!

The bardot top is one I picked up last Summer from Pretty Little Thing, and the skirt is this dreamy tiered number from the ever-faithful Asos. I’m a huge fan of the midi skirt and it can hide a multitude of sins (pastey white legs, I’m looking at you!) and is just so easy to wear and style! I’ve worn this one in a number of ways with everything from a T shirt and trainers to lace trimmed cami tops and pointed stilettos – so versatile.

Top – Pretty Little Thing // Skirt – ASOS // Bag – H&M // Studded Sandals – River Island

Add to this simple monochrome look a small black clutch with gold chain detailing, and sassy little studded sandals and voila – an outfit that was dinner-and-drinks appropriate, sunshine appropriate and coastal wind appropriate all rolled in to one! Not too dressed up, not too casual and something that I’ll be reaching to wear time and time again to come.

I’ve got a couple more outfit posts coming your way from our trip away then normal activity will resume. How have you all spent your Bank Holiday weekends? Mine has been full of family fun, food and copious amounts of chocolate but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m now glued to the sofa ready for the Broadchurch and Girls finales and a Kardashian marathon to catch up on everything Ive missed!!

Amazing skirt! I think it might have to be my next ASOS purchase… it looks perfect with this outfit!
