If there’s one thing I love about this season’s fashion, its bardot necklines! I know they’re not to everyone’s taste, but I find them to be really flattering on my body shape. Since starting the Results With Lucy health and fitness plan, I’ve gradually lost weight around my face, neck and chest, and baring my shoulders to show that off in styles like this gorgeous pink number make me feel super confident right now.

This bardot shirt is a little different to others I own as the sleeves aren’t completely attached to the body, but instead are joined with a small stitch. I wasn’t too sure how this would work when I first saw it, but as soon as I tried it on I loved it, mainly because it didn’t mean I had to spend the rest of my day pulling it down off my shoulders – result!

I originally wore the blouse tucked in to my jeans, but decided to leave it out as it has such a nice shape to it. It was a shame to tuck it away! It’s actually available in a few other colours, and I’m super tempted to pick a couple more up in different shades to add to my Summer wardrobe. It would look great with a mini skirt for warmer days, or even smart culottes for work, so definitely a versatile piece that I can see me getting a lot of wear out of this season.

Can we also just talk about the bag for a second too?! I finally got my hands on a straw tote bag after spending years thinking they were only fit for the beach. I’m now fully converted and will be sporting mine on a regular basis for the rest of the Summer!

In other news I’ve got a few days off coming up on Thursday which I absolutely can not wait for. It might only be a few days, and there might not be any plans in the pipeline, but a few days at home to chill out and celebrate our anniversary (ELEVEN YEARS!) has come at the perfect time. Expect lots more blog posts over the next week!
