Another weekend over and another lovely couple of days! (Where is this year going?!) This weekend we had a super chilled out Saturday catching up with family and yesterday we headed to Manchester for the day. We did the rounds seeing friends and family and dropped off lots of our Save The Dates (eek!), and whilst Dan and his brother went to the cinema, I set up camp in the fabulous Ezra & Gil. I spent the morning eating the most amazing breakfast of Caprese on toast! Fresh tomatoes, lots of pesto, and two perfectly poached eggs piled up on sour dough toast is a combination I am ALL about. I parked myself in a cosy little window seat and killed time editing photos and writing blog posts with a pot of tea whilst I watched the world go by, and it was bliss. Having a little time to myself to enjoy my own company, eat good food and collect my thoughts was so good and definitely something I’m going to try and do more of.

When it was almost time to meet the boys again, I strolled on through the Northern Quarter, browsing the Vintage shops I used to spend SO much time (and money) in, then headed to Zara for a little more retail therapy. I knew I’d be having quite a chilled day and walking quite a way, so I wanted to go for a comfortable outfit with zero chance of blisters!

I wore the latest addition to my wardrobe which is a gorgeous fluted sleeve striped blouse from Tobi, a really cool LA based online clothing boutique. Its slightly cropped so its perfect to wear with high waisted jeans – the pair I went for are an H&M buy from six months ago. I didn’t fit in to them when I bought them but decided to keep hold of them as a bit of motivation to get in to better shape, and hey presto, six months later, they fit! Its no nice to see the hard work I’ve been putting in doing the Results With Lucy plan is starting to pay off.

Fluted Sleeve Stripe Top – Tobi* // High Waist Straight Leg Jeans – H&M // Nike Cortez Trainers – Very // Floral Bag – Primark // Necklace – Johnny Loves Rosie* // Sunglasses – Tobi* // Rings – Thomas Sabo* and Pandora

I love how relaxed this outfit is, and I love the pops of colour with the floral bag, detailing on the trainers and of course the sassiest sunnies you ever did see. The red lensed circular specs are another find from Tobi and not only do they look pretty darn cool but they make everything look pretty and pink – what more could you want?!

I’m hoping to head back to Manchester again for another lazy day in a few weeks, so if you’ve any recommendations for brunch or lunch spots then please leave your suggestions below!

Hope you all had a great weekend!
