LUCK WOULD HAVE IT

So it looks as though Summer has well and truly ended now, confirmed by the fact I woke up to downpours this morning and suddenly have an urge to buy ALL the knitwear, so I thought I’d throw things back to the Bank Holiday weekend which now feels forever ago! We had a weirdly warm long weekend for once, which meant I could don some new purchases and dress in something summery for (let’s hope not) one last time.

I picked up the T shirt from the new collection at New Look, and as I was heading over to the tills I spotted the pink gingham midi skirt in the sale and just had to have it! I’m loving clashing pinks with reds right now, so these two items together was just meant to be. We all know I’m a sucker for a slogan tee (Seriously, I’ve lost count of how many I have) and the Lucky one was an absolute steal at £7.99 full price so I didn’t even have to think twice!

Slogan T Shirt – New Look // Gingham Ruffle Midi Skirt – New Look // Red Bag – H&M // Converse – Very // Earrings – Absolute Vintage

I don’t know about you, but I’m not quite ready to start saying farewell to my Summer clothes for the new season. I think both of these pieces will transition nicely in to my Autumn wardrobe too though – the skirt paired with grey, red or soft pink knits and sock boots for a cosier feel, and the tee layered under blazers and tucked in to jeans or leather mini skirts with opaque tights and boots – so many possibilities!

Which Summer items from your wardrobe are you looking forward to style for Autumn/Winter?
