With Winter now most definitely here, cosy nights in with the fire on, candles lit, curled up on the sofa with a gin in one hand and the TV remote in the other are becoming all the more appealing. I always get the urge this time of year to make some subtle changes around the home to help make things that little more cosy when the colder weather sets in.

Our living room is usually bursting with bright colours, mainly yellow, but its also the coldest room in the house thanks to it being directly above the basement with little insulation, so I decided to warm things up by swapping bright yellow for burnt orange, luxurious teals and deep navy accent colours. I’ve also added more textures to the room with a shaggy rug, and a mix of satins, velvets and faux furs. Its already made a huge difference to how the room feels, and of course I’ve now got the interior bug and want to keep adding more and more things! I’ve been spending A LOT of time browsing my favourite homeware sites lately, so I thought I’d share some of my favourite pieces with you, since they’re all sitting in my bookmarks folder!
