If I could pick one colour combination to wear for the rest of time, it would be red and pink, hands down. Determined to make this Monday anything but blue, I thought I’d upload this bright look from the weekend , which is quite possibly one of my favourite outfits that I’ve ever worn. Pink and red is a combo that can be a little scary at first thought, but its actually one of the easiest to style in my opinion. Now I’m not saying you have to go all out with almost-neon-highlighter pink and pillarbox red that I have here (even I was unsure at first) put a subtle pastel pink and a pop of red can step any outfit up a notch!
One of the reasons I love this outfit so much is because its full of some of my most loved pieces from last year, as well as some of my favourite new additions from over the festive period! The standout is obviously the amazing pink & red striped jumper (which FYI is in the sale!). I don’t think I’ve ever had as many compliments on an item ever, which is always a bonus. Its definitely a conversation starter! Its actually a longer length, but I prefer to tuck it in and wear it a little loose around the waist as it suits my shape more, but I’ve seen it look amazing on other people worn as its intended!
Next up it has to be the oversized tan coat which was an impulse sale buy after Christmas. I’d seen it on Laura and fell in love with it, and was so happy it was still in stock in my size! There’s still some left in one or two sizes, so if you’re in the market for a new coat, this one is amazing quality for the price.
Finally, can we talk about the trainers? You all know how much I love a good pair of trainers, and after falling in love with Nike Cortez last year, Dan spied these amazing pastel pink numbers and got me them for Christmas! Needless to say, they’ve barely left my feet since as they’re literally the comfiest trainers I’ve owned, and now I need even more colours!
I hope you’ve all had a bearable Blue Monday!
