When it comes to homeware, I’m a little bit (okay a lot) obsessed, and this next confession may come as a surprise to some people, but I’d rather take a trip to Ikea over a visit to Topshop any day. It might still be bitterly cold outside, but I’m already excited about new Spring collections and arrivals that could be added to our home, particularly our bedroom which is in need of a few finishing touches.

I’ve been drooling over a number of pieces from the likes of Julian Charles, Oliver Bonas and many other stores, and thought I’d share some of my favourites with you (mainly because I know lots of you love pink just as much as I do). I’m currently loving plush fabrics, mixing textures and pairing soft pinks with subtle greys, and accessorising the room with fun prints, wicker storage and touches of gold and copper.

Round Mirror / Posters / Embroidered Oxford Pillow Cases / Round Sheepskin Cushion / Embroidered Square Cushion / Silver Herringbone Throw / Mauve Knitted Throw / Gold Clock / Glass & Marble Table Lamp / Stoneware Plant Pot / Grey Armchair / Blush Egyptian Cotton Towels / Blush Egyptian Cotton Towels

As you can probably tell, we have a pretty clear colour scheme in our bedroom, but its one I think works really well. The soft colours are super relaxing and give a really calming feel to the room, but at the moment the whole room feels a little ‘unfinished’. We’re in need of a new chair for the dressing table, and the Ikea armchair would make a great addition with a faux fur throw and some soft pink cushions for added comfort, and how amazing would the pink glass table lamp look on our bedside tables?! Somebody pull me away from the homeware websites, pronto!!

Which interior items are you lusting after for the new season?

  1. That pink glass lamp is to sooo pretty! I love it!

Can totally relate to your homeware obsession too. I’m just in the midst of flat hunting at the moment and the thought of getting to the fun bit of shopping for stuff like this is getting me through it!
