WHAT I WORE IN CUBA

I can’t actually believe that I’ve been back from our honeymoon for a week now! Time has flown by so quickly, yet the jet lag is still giving me serious sleep issues! Cuba was hands down the best holiday I’ve ever been on and the whole two weeks were just a complete dream. I lost count of the number of times I cried tears of joy! I also lost count of how many outfits I wore whilst I was there, but luckily Dan (kind of) happily snapped the majority of looks for me so I could share them with you here!

When in Cuba, bold colours and prints are a given, right? Let me tell you, I went ALL. OUT. with with holiday wardrobe and wore some of my boldest outfits yet. I had some gorgeous bright summer pieces and a staple little black dress from a great brand I recently discovered called Femme Luxe, as well as stunning swimwear from UK Swimwear, and lots from my old faithfuls; Topshop, ASOS & Monki. I probably wouldn’t get away with the majority of these on the high street in Preston city centre on a Saturday afternoon, that’s for sure, but it was so much fun to play with colours and patterns in such a fun and colourful country!

Think bright colour block t shirts, midi skirt and wide leg trousers in bold palm and floral prints, colourful sandals and of course some rainbow stripes. Much to my delight, when we arrived we saw that each block of rooms was a different colour, giving me endless backdrops to compliment my outfit shots. Needless to say, I was in my absolute element. I’ve linked everything that I can still find in stock below, if you spy anything you like!

Looking back at these photos has brought on a whole fresh wave of holiday blues for sure! I’m so in love with every single piece in my holiday wardrobe and have packed everything away (sob!) thanks to this miserable rainy weather, crossing my fingers that it can all come back out for a surprise autumn heatwave, but most likely for another sunny getaway in the future!

I’m hoping to pull together a post on Cuba itself in the next couple of weeks or so, to give you an insight in to what we got up to and what kind of things you can expect from the country. It really was a dream trip and the absolute perfect way to finish off the wedding celebrations. Its a holiday I’ll remember forever and I really hope we can go back again in the future.
