Long time followers of mine will know that I’ve been on a quest for the perfect hair products for a long time now. I’ve been having my hair dyed blonde in some way, shape or form for as long as I can remember. With that comes a lot of care and maintenance, and finding the right products can be a minefield! I’ve been kindly sent some products from the Fudge Clean Blonde range which have been working wonders though. I’ve been loving the results so far, so I thought I’d share my thoughts!
As I said, I’ve been getting my hair dyed blonde for a LONG time now, and in that time I’ve tried a lot of products that promise the world but just don’t deliver. I’ve tried purple shampoos that completely dry out my hair, and I’ve tried products that supposedly brighten dulling colour, but had zero effect. Needless to say, I’m always a little sceptical when it comes to trying products that promise to brighten my blonde. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Fudge Clean blonde though, so I was excited to give it a go.
Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Violet-Toning Shampoo & Conditioner
First up is the shampoo and conditioner from the Clean Blonde range. These are probably the two products that have had the most impact on my hair! I’m no stranger to a purple shampoo, and this promises to be one of the strongest on the market. The instructions advise to leave the shampoo in for no more than 5 minutes, but I’ve only braved 3 minutes so far. I’m always dubious at first with a purple shampoo after using so many rubbish ones, but I’ve been amazed! I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now, and saw brilliant results after just one wash. My blonde looks brighter, lighter and any brassy yellow tones have completely gone.
Having ombre, low maintenance blonde means that salon top ups aren’t very regular, but my hair can dull between visits. This is a game changer for me now, as my blonde is bright all the way through to the next salon visit! The conditioner in this set is also lovely. I think the shampoo does all the work in the brightening department personally. This however does a great job of softening the hair and making it look and feel super healthy. My blonde can look so dry and my hair splits so easily, but this really seems to make a difference!
Fudge Clean Blonde Violet Tri-Blo & Fudge Xpander Foam
An area where I really lack is in the styling products! I can be so lazy with my hair and never usually bother with anything other than a little oil through my ends after styling. I’m an avid ghd user, and curl my hair with them most days, so I was in desperate need of some help! Dry split ends are my nemesis, so I’m so glad to have the Tri-Blo Violet Toning Blow Dry Spray. Not only is this a blow dry spray and heat protectant up to 235 degrees, but it also acts as a toner! The liquid spray is a bright violet, and magically banishes any brassy tones, whilst giving weightless hold. I’m completely obsessed with what this product does, and the smell is AMAZING.
When I want extra volume, I’ve been reaching for the Xpander Foam which I love! This mousse-like product is used on wet hair before styling. I use this at my roots, and the Tri-Blo spray through the rest of the hair for best results on my hair. I love the volume this gives to my flat-as-a-pancake hair, and can achieve bouncy locks with ease when using these! I’ll definitely be using these whenever I style my hair from now on. They offer great protection and I can already see such a difference!
I think it’s pretty clear to see how chuffed I am with this selection of Fudge products! I’ve never seen such a change in my hair after using something for such a short time. Its such a nice change to find products for coloured hair that ACTUALLY WORK! I’ve definitely found my favourite purple shampoo, absolutely no contest, and the blow dry spray is so good. If you’ve got blonde hair and struggle with yellow tones, you have to try this collection. I honestly can’t recommend them enough!
Thanks so much to Fudge for letting me give these products a try. In case you couldn’t tell, I’m 100% obsessed with them. Let me know if you’ve tried anything from the Fudge range and what you thought!
